Spring Break Part 1

WARNING: LOTS of pictures! They keep going and going and going...

We have had a great first half of Spring break!
Monday we got up and headed to Denver to play for a few days!
First we went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
We had a good time seeing everything. It is a huge 3 story museum with lots to see!
Lizzie was a little fussy, here she is finally happy for a few minutes, helping me push her stroller!

The girls playing in the Children's area
Tuesday we headed to the Denver Zoo. It was the perfect day to be there, warm but not hot, and sunny with no clouds! Even Lizzie was great! She spent most the day in the carrier on me, but was great!

Lizzie and I enjoying the sunshine!!!
The hippo went crazy! He was in the water, not moving, then he got out and stood for a minute, than all of a sudden started running and shaking it's head with its mouth wide open, and boy can it open it's mouth wide!!!
Girls on the carousel.

How we spent most of the day!
 My cute kids!!!
 Beautiful Gracie!
 Adorable Bekah!
 Handsome Jake
The girls got Icie's and they came in this fun cup! They loved them!!!

Then we went to the Denver Downtown Aquarium.
The girls with a mermaid! (Bekah was so excited about this!!!)
 The kids mining for gems!
In the tunel with stingrays, sharks and fish swimming all around us!
Lizzie and us in the tunel
 The Mermaids swimming.
Funny tid bit- After we were done Bekah said that the mermaids she had her picture with was a fake, cause she had white stuff in her tail, were the paint had worn off, but the ones swimming in the tank were real. Now she knew!
 A few point!
Grace and Bekah at the Sting Ray tank, where you can feel and feed them, but they didn't ever come over for the girls to feel.
Grace in a Shark Dive tank!
 Bekah in the tank!
 Jake in the tank
 More mermaids
Outside the Aquarium.
So that is part one! Yes, there is more to come in a few days!
Hope you all are having a great week too!

Awards and Sunshine!

The kids had another awards assembly at school.
Jacob got another ROAR award for being a great student!
The teachers did a 'flash mob' dance number! It was pretty funny! (I think the 2 VERY pregnant teachers danced the best! They really got into it!)
Grace got another Gold card for having the best grades she could get! Smart cookie!
Afterwards we enjoyed some sunshine in the back yard! Bekah showing me a hat she found in her dress up box! What a cutie!
Lizzie Zoe Chilling with mommy! I need to get her a hat that fits!
 Lizzie and me relaxing!
The view from our patio! Love the mountains!

March Photo Challenge Day 24 & 25

Colorful- My first thought was we are a colorful family!
But I went for real colors and I chose my cute girls at the park!

Day 25- Whats on your feet!

Smiles

Despite waking up on the wrong side of the bed (both of us) and feeling stressed out (me), I got to enjoy a few smiles from my little blue eyed angle!

She likes to stare at the camera and not smile when I get it out, so I have to try and hold it off to the side and get her to look at me to get those smiles, but they are so worth the trouble!

We both started the day grouchy! I am not sure why! I  just woke up feeling stressed and upset. So I was not my best today. And Lizzie spent the morning crying, I think because of an upset tummy, because once she pooped, and boy do I mean pooped, she was happier, for a while at least. She sat on my lap and ate dinner with us, well rice cereal for her, but she was loving eating with the big kids! It was funny! She is growing so fast it is crazy!

Here is the wreath I made for our front door for Easter, it was fun.

It looks kind of crazy in pictures, but it is really fun and cute in person.
It has small glittery Easter eggs clued around it too, they are hard to see.

And I think I am done with crafts for a few days! Or until after Spring break at least! CAN"T WAIT!!!

March Photo Challenge Day 22

Neighborhood
Looking down the street from our house.

We have a nice quite street where the all the neighborhood kids play together on all the lawns!
And we are out in the country away from the busyness of town!

Cutest laugh E V E R!!!

Here is a video of Lizzie laughing at Bekah!
I don't know why but she always gets the hiccups when she laughs!

Easter Decor and other craft fun!

We have been staying busy! And fitting in a few fun crafts when we can ;)

Easter Decorations
I have enjoyed decorating above my fire place for every holiday!
My picture of Christ and the two marble candle holders from China on the left stay year round.
An idea from Pinterest, sits on my piano. (I got the candy on sale with a coupon, and had the candle and bowl already, so this cost about $2.00)
Strung Easter eggs with ribbon, then tied some tulle bows in between!
(Cost about $1.50)
I used Mason jars, filled with plastic eggs and tied ribbon from the wreath I am making, and tulle and tada!
(About $.75)
Eggs on a stick, from the dollar store, and M & M's I got on sale in a vase I had!
Scatter a few plastic eggs and tada!
(Cost about $3.00)
Print out from Pinterest in a frame I already had!
Wreath I am making for my front door!
(Ribbon from dollar store- $12; Tulle on sale with coupon- $4; Wreath form with coupon, $6.00;

(I am almost done with it and will show soon!)
Bekah & Elizabeth's!
There room is going to be pink and green, with flowers!

More of Bekah & Lizzie's room
This is something I made a long time ago in Idaho!
Lizzie's crib will be under this!
Flowers I found at Micheal's in the $1 bins, 50% off!
So they were $1.50 for all 5!!!
Lizzie's Crib set has monkeys on it, and I thought these were SO cute!
They were in the $1-3 dollar bins in Target! Each was $2.50, so they were $7.50!

I keep finding way cute fun things for my house on sale!!! LOVE IT!
And I am finding lots of ideas from pinterest!
